What is Sub Q?
From the same stable as Restylane (one of the first fillers that has remained market leader where others have tried and failed), Sub Q contains is a larger sized hyaluronic acid particles, ideal for volume replacement to the face, smoothing out lines and wrinkles. A great treatment for defining cheek areas and lifting the jowl areas.
The procedure
Anaesthetic cream is placed on the area of injection (usually around the cheek bones), after about 20mins Angelica then uses the special needle to inject Sub Q into the deeper areas of the skin. The product absorbs water and fills and lifts the face.
The whole procedure takes around 30 minutes.
Do I need to take time off?
There is little ‘down time’ associated with this innovative product. Swelling and bruising may occur which can be effectively hidden with make up. You can return to normal activities after 24 hours.
How long does it last?
The result is seen immediately but it takes a few days for the product to settle comfortably. After 9-12 months a top up is required to maintain the results.
